There is real snow in Ski Dubai, freshly made through a natural process. The snow is made by spraying a mist of water and compressed air. Other indoor ski slopes often use artificial snow, made from resins. The temperature at Ski Dubai is also held at a constant -4°C so there's no fear of it melting.
You can't enter the ski area without paying, but you can view parts of the snow park and slope from a viewing area within Mall of the Emirates.
Depending on the activities, access to Ski Dubai's slopes can range from AED220 to AED490. It's not just about skiing.
